From
Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy
Tasting Note
" A striking deep copper tinge with a warm pink rim is not the only feature which makes this wine stand out. A rare chance to appreciate the now seldom seen, opulent flavoured "Ramato" (coppery) Pinot Grigio of bygone days. Intense nose, leather, dried peaches and a whiff of almonds. Well extracted rich flavours of great definition, massive personality, staying power and a world apart from the pale, often anonymous Pinot Grigio we know. "
