" Deep, dark core with bright ruby rim. Initially pinotage dominates the nose. Then red berry, ripe plum and dark chocolate come in to play. Big entry into the mouth and all the nose promised is joined by marzipan and rich fruit cake. Full flow through the mouth with supple but definite tannins. Hint of lavender in the background. Long, strong finish. Will develop well over next six to eight years. "
