Tasting Note
" Deepest, darkest warm brown, shot with rose gold and emerald hues. There are hints of cigar box, molasses and burnt sugar, along with spiced roasted almonds, plump raisins, dates, dried apricots and blood-orange zest. Cinnamon takes a bow with some spicy friends. Old-barrel aromas. The mouth tastes the sweet element initially, which is joined by spicy, then sweet/bitter and a glimpse of rancio, the sweetness becoming drier. Woody, smoky, earthy notes make up the undertones, and the high soprano citrus notes bring a tingling, zesty, uplifting freshness. Satin smooth, with a gloriously extended finish. "
