Tasting Note
" Unmistakeably regional on the nose exuding a pronounced sense of place and variety. Primary fruit aromas are starting to give way to secondary evolved notes which make for a highly complex offering of mixed berries, scorched earth notes, tea leaf, leather and all spice. Medium bodied, elegant and developing in the mouth with fresh uplifting acidity and assertive but in balance tannins. Marked with complex secondary flavours of dried herbs, spices, orange peel, almond and assorted raspberry and plum fruit. Delightfully indulgent and hedonistically complex with a pure and broad finish. Drinking perfectly now but will undoubtedly reward cellaring over the next 2-3 years. An incredibly good example. "
