First discovering the joys of the drinks industry during a stint of work experience in in a restaurant in Spain, upon his return to the UK, Guy managed a couple of independent wine and spirit merchants, before moving into buying at Selfridges, one of London's leading luxury department stores.
His next career move was as Head Spirits Buyer at multi-award-winning online retailer Master of Malt where he remained for four years until 2021, when he moved on to Bordeaux Index to take up the role as the company’s Spirits Buyer.
