" Deep core with purple, grainy edge. Very attractive nose laden with ripe berry aromas with gorgeous floral backing where dark rose and lavender feature. Rich but elegant entry where layers of ripe berry flavours descend deep into the mouth. Ripe plums, cherry, blueberry, with some herby notes all play a part. Fine, supple, well managed tannin. Some delightful spice. Great balance and good structure. Long, fruit filled finish. Good now but has many years of development to prove itself. "
