" Powerful and well-aged Islay whisky nose with pronounced peat smoke and seaside aromas. The background hides plenty of candied and fresh fruits and a suggestion of sweetness. The palate is very big and pronounced with the smoke stepping aside giving way to the more delicate spicy and fruity notes. Great at it’s original cask strength but can take a drop of water well. "
