As the Group Sommelier for Kailis Hospitality Group, she holds the reins in curating the wine lists for two iconic establishments gracing the Cottesloe coastline: The Shorehouse and Gibney.

With accolades like the prestigious title of Sommelier of the Year at the 2023 WA Good Food Guide Awards adorning her career, Nina is a beacon of excellence in her field. The Shorehouse's consecutive wins for Best Wine List in WA in 2022 and 2023, along with the national recognition for Best Sparkling List in 2022, stand as testament to her dedication and expertise.

Nina's journey into the world of wine is a blend of formal education and hands-on experience. Armed with degrees in Anthropology, Human Biology, and a Master of Forensic Science from UWA, her analytical mind finds harmony in the complexities of viticulture and oenology. Yet, it's her ceaseless quest to explore and appreciate the diverse terroirs and varietals that truly fuels her passion.

Currently pursuing advanced studies with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Nina has already achieved milestones by completing the Introductory and Certified levels. Her commitment to continuous learning underscores her pursuit of mastery in her craft, ensuring that she remains at the forefront of wine expertise.

Beyond her role in shaping the wine programs for Kailis Hospitality Group, Nina is a respected figure in the wine community, lending her discerning palate to prestigious judging panels. Her recent participation as a judge in events like the 2023 Australian Alternative Variety Wine Show and the 2023 Wine Show of Western Australia further solidifies her reputation as a trusted authority in the industry.
