IWSC 2023 Spirits Awards: Baijiu
There were 166 medal winners in the Baijiu category this year, including 7 Gold Outstanding medals, 28 Gold medals, 74 Silver and 57 Bronze medal.
A strong distilled spirit traditional to China, we also received several entries for the category from Taiwan. With an alcohol content ranging from 40% to 60% and made from fermented grains our categories are organised into level of aroma, from Light to Strong, as well as Rice, Mixed, Sauce and Special aroma. The judging was overseen by Marie Cheong Thong.
