From
Rioja, Spain
Tasting Note
" A benchmark example of the style: expressive and elegant fruit has layered aromatics of red berry fruit with an attractive perfumed lift and herbal complexity. A hint of coconut from American oak complements baking spice notes indicative of use of French oak. A very long, classy finish retains plenty of youthful fruit, despite its bottle age. There’s enticing balancing freshness that perfectly balances the ripe fruit and the well-integrated 14% alcohol. This wine will hold for another 5 years and continue to drink well as the fruit evolves. "
