" Deep crimson colour with a dark core. A fresh ripe wine with plenty of blackcurrant, plum and liquorice. Notes of coffee and herbs entwine and give a smoky, savoury element. Quite burly in the mouth, firm oak and fine tannins with layers of lush ripe fruit and nice spiky acidity. Perhaps a little too firm now, this will improve and soften and give a lot more of itself with time. "
