The Ready-To-Drink and Pre-mixed drinks category has been showing consistent growth year on year, with the quality constantly improving and the producers experimenting with styles and ingredients.

RTDs and Pre-mixed drinks have met consumers' needs, offering a hassle-free solution for a quick and easy way to enjoy a cocktail without the need for extensive ingredients, equipment, or bartending skills.
In 2024 the category once again proved that it is here to stay. The RTDs received nearly 190 medals including just shy of 20 golds. Our experts praised the producers’ desire to innovate and experiment.
“Probably something that caught me off guard in a wonderful way, was the number of high-quality RTDs (ready to drink) we tasted. Generally speaking, RTDs are a relatively new drinks category and tasting so many today, that ended up performing very, very well I think is indicative of the fact that this category is here to stay. People are really putting a lot of thought and effort into RTDs, thinking about how to give consumers a high-quality cocktail in a way that they can have at home or on the move."
