From
Dão, Portugal
Tasting Note
" Deep crimson ruby colour. Lifted hedonistic nose of black cherry, dark plums, cassis, a beguiling eucalypt scent and rich loamy earth. Medium to full body, very youthful still with plenty of primary juicy fruit characters dominating. Nice sinewy, grippy tannins hold the voluptuous fruit in check - just. The acidity adds freshness and balance. Could do with a few more years perhaps but still very good now. "
