" Deep ruby-purple colour, the wine has a ‘showy’ aroma of ’sweet fruit’-blackberries, cherries and raspberries-and plenty of smoky oak with cinnamon and mocha. A full-bodied, dense wine, the palate is ripe and fleshy, with well-balanced corduroy-textured tannins and crisp acidity. Oak is well-held by good concentration and persistence of flavour. Lovely mouthfeel. A long mineral and pepper finish. Youthful, but ready for drinking over the next 2-3 years or so. "
