From
Madeira, Portugal
Tasting Note
" Medium mahogany with brilliant bronze/copper flashes. Magical complex aromas, Maple syrup, roasted pecan, dates, prunes, bergamot, ginger snap biscuits, expresso coffee, hot bitumen roads. Incredible depth in the mouth the aromas indicate sweet but the flavour impression is dry and fulsome, though with vanilla, mocha, praline, caramelised citrus, earthy brazil nuts, figs. A beautiful pithy counterbalance which is incredibly appetite inducing springs into play. The finish is almost trance inducing with minutes of flavour coating the mouth and almost never fading. "
