Starting his wine career in 2003 in London, Paulo Brammer became head sommelier for the three Michelin-starred Pourcel brothers in 2005.
In 2008, he made the move out of fine dining to take on a new challenge as group wine buyer at ETM Group, where he designed the wine lists for twelve very different sites and also travelled to the Languedoc each year to blend the ETM Group’s house wines. During his time with ETM Group, the company's wine lists were awarded Best Group Drinks Offer by Harpers Magazine and Paulo was nominated Pub Personality of the Year by Imbibe.
Since 2013 Brammer has been running a wine and spirits academy, Eno Cultura, in Brazil, which offers WSET Levels 1, 2, 3 and Diploma training and qualifications as well as French Wine Scholar and ISG certifications. Eno Cultura also provides a consultancy service for the UK and Brazil and has been recognised with accolades including in 2017, educator of the year in by WSET Global and FWS Provider of the year in 2019 by the Wine Scholar Guild.
Paulo was also recently included in the Future 50 Awards, highlighting 50 of the global industry´s up and coming talents, a joint venture between the WSET and IWSC.
