Elvis Ziakos is head sommelier at two Michelin-starred The Greenhouse Restaurant in London since 2013, coming from the two Michelin-starred Spondi Restaurant in Athens as head sommelier for five years.
Starting his career in his native Greece, Ziakos completed his culinary studies at Corfu Island in 1995.
Since then he has been dedicated to hospitality professionally. In 2004 he attended the first sommelier school open in Athens following the WSET syllabus.
Awarded as best sommelier of Greece in 2006 and 2008, Elvis has participated in many sommelier competitions.
In 2015 he graduated as an Advanced Sommelier from The Court of Master Sommeliers in London.
