"Originally going into the pub business I was lured into wine to work for 'Vinoteca' in 2012 (One of their staff used to do my pub quiz). I spent the next 4 years with them: Opened up 3 of their sites all across London & in doing so completed my WSETS. Whilst there I worked 2 harvests in Greece.
"In 2016 I was lured to Australia to work with Mac Forbes, who is truly one of the great Modern Australian winemakers. I spent 3 months with him until moving to work with 'Neighbourhood Wines' in Melbourne, one of the leading wine bars in the country.
"Only getting back from Australia in mid 2018 I opened 'Quality Wines'
with the team behind the 'Quality Chop House'. Its a small wine bar and shop of 20 seats. It's literally just me & a chef: Nick Bramham, who is a Gilda God. It's an awesome place, the wine buyer actually serves you & the record player is always on.
"When not working am still kind of thinking about my next glass."
