The International Wine & Spirit Competition award the industry's finest at Annual Awards Banquet

On the evening of 16th November 2016, London’s Guildhall played host to the 47th annual International Wine and Spirit Competition’s (IWSC) Awards Banquet. The evening marks the culmination of a 365 day campaign establishing the world’s finest wines and spirits and reward true excellence in the industry. Last night’s winners included the likes of Aldi UK, McGuigan Wines and Marks and Spencer, to name a few.

We're delighted to announce the Shortlists for all Producer, Importer, Retailer and Achievement Award categories for 2016! 2016 sees the introduction of a number of new awards including Supermarket of the Year, Innovator of the Year and Retail Wine/Spirits Buyer of the Year. Whiskies and Gin Soar in a Record Year for IWSC Spirit Entries

We are pleased to announce the 2016 Spirit results and trophies, revealing a record year for entries into the Competition, with a 17% increase in entries, lead by the Scotch, Worldwide Whiskey and Gin categories. The top 200 winners will be showcased at the annual Spirits Showcase event, run in partnership with the Worshipful Company of Distillers.
