Julian Brind Trophy for Emerging Talent in the Wine Industry

Have you spotted someone who you think is destined to be the wine world’s next big star? The Julian Brind Trophy for Emerging Talent in the Wine Industry is designed to find just that.

The trophy is awarded to someone who demonstrates a real dedication and passion for wine beyond the scope of their day job; the recipient will have already established a track record in their field, will be taking part in the wider aspects of the wine trade, and will show commitment and determination in everything they do.

Sponsored by Waitrose, this award was created to honour the late Julian Brind MW, who was an integral part of the Waitrose & Partners wine team for over 40 years and a long-standing IWSC judge.

The winner will be announced in March 2021.

Previous winners include Sula Richardson (pictured below left), Clara Rubin, Nik Darlington, Ross Carter and Justin Howard Sneyd MW, Dawn Davies, Xavier Rousset MS and Sam Harrop MW.
